Offered here a vintage work coat from visionary Japanese designer ISSEY MIYAKE. Produced in a beautiful, faded indigo cotton which is soft to the touch, this three button coat has a generous, enveloping cut which is typical of ISSEY MIYAKE outerwear. The details are those of a traditional work coat, apart from the sleeves which have been lined in a bright red and blue contrast stripe. The coat can accordingly be worn with the sleeves rolled up to expose this striking contrast, or down to hide it. There are a number of pockets at the front, with a buttoned breast pocket, two buttoned, waist level patch pockets, and a smaller coin pocket above the right patch pocket. There is a further interior jet pocket.

It should be noted that the coat has minor fading from wear, and one small mark at the back (see pictures) but is in great condition for its age.
